I first recorded this song back in 2017 as part of my acoustic debut E.P. The song surrounds the idea of a toxic relationship - both parties know that they can’t carry on keeping up appearances, but somehow they keep coming back to each other; hence the chorus phrase “stuck in a merry-go-round.”
